Have you been enjoying Summer? My family and I have been trying not to let the heat get the best of us, and when it's not storming outside, we can usually be found near the ocean or some other body of water.
One thing I love about Summer is that I get to photograph some wonderful families who vacation in the area. I'm excited to officially begin offering vacation storytelling sessions, which combine my natural style of portraiture with photojournalistic capturing of one day from your trip. I'll follow you around from hotel to beach to local shops, or any other adventures you happen upon. I don't even mind a little travel if you're going somewhere other than Palm Beach County. You end up with a priceless storybook of memories to cherish.

I am so excited to reveal the new look of my website, which went live a few days ago! The new design is much more "me", and it's got my site and blog together in one spot, which I love. Change is good!
Speaking of change, my entire pricing structure has been revamped recently and is much simpler. I saw that complex collections weren't meeting the needs of the families and couples I work with, so those are gone and everything is a bit more straightforward now. I think all those who have worked with me in the past will like the change. So if you haven't been in touch in a while, email me for a copy of the new dealeo :)
Local Scene: Lake Worth
I happen to be on the contributor team for a wonderful photography forum called Bloom, and I recently shot a little story for the Everything Bloom blog about the City of Lake Worth. It's part of their city guide series Adventure is Out There.
I featured a couple of my favorite spots in Lake Worth: Benny's on the Beach, where you can eat a yummy breakfast or lunch literally right on the beach, and Coastar's Coffee Bar, which serves up some of the very best coffee in the county along with a great vibe and relaxing atmosphere, open mic and poetry nights, and a rotating exhibit of local art on the walls. (I'm also so honored that Coastar's is using some of the images I took on their website!)

Travel & Mentoring
I'm so over the moon to begin offering one-on-one mentoring for photographers, which will be a combination of online and in-person instruction. I've been so humbled that there's a demand for this, and I'm honored and excited to share what I know with some amazing and talented artists. My first "student" starts her program in September, and after that I'll be taking new people on a very limited basis to ensure that each receives enough of my attention while I continue to keep a full calendar of sessions, weddings, and of course always putting my family first!
I'm planning to do a bit of traveling before the end of this year, and if I'm coming to your area I would be absolutely thrilled to photograph your family while I'm in town! Current dates & locations are the Southeast coast of Maine from September 1-12, and Los Angeles, CA from October 20-24. I'm also open to trekking to any other spots within the US (and perhaps beyond) if there are enough people interested in doing a session while I'm there, so don't be shy to speak up if you've been secretly wishing I could come to you!
