Tanya Mayahuel Torres,
received the gift of healing in childhood. Her healing powers were discovered when she assisted her Olmec healer grandfather while still a little girl. People came from all around Mexico to see the healing powers of her tiny, but powerful hands.
Throughout her life she has been walking her own spiritual path as well as guiding others in how to heal themselves physically and spiritually through the shamanic teachings of her Olmec -Toltec ancestors. Among some of her many wise teachings are: guiding the patient to identify the spiritual wounds that have cause the physical or mental suffering, and assisting the patient in making the necessary changes in their lifestyle to heal and to come into harmony with the universe.
Some of Tanya Mayahuel’s healing tools are: indigenous - shamanic healing ceremonies, reconnecting with mother earth, energy healing, spiritual guidance, use of healing herbs, the use of meditative physical activity, catharsis, cosmic dance, sacred music and therapeutic beading creation.

for over 25 years has coached people of different ages in finding their voice of their soul. As a recording artist, songwriter, spiritual and social activist, inspirational teacher, healer, she has come to the deep realization of how fundamental in our healing path, and the connection with ourselves and the whole, it is to explore and discover this magnificent instrument we all have inside of us, our voice*. We are all powerful resonant beings. When the vocal channel is open it becomes a relevant and indispensable vehicle for expression. But few of us ever recognize, access or utilize this tool to its greatest capacity.
First we must learn to use the instrument effectively through anatomical understanding, comprehension of the trajectory of air upon exhale and breathing techniques that support this knowledge.
When we work in this manner we awaken our bodies and become aware of a deep cosmic experience happening in this very moment, a connection to divinity that is always within our reach.
Often, unconscious emotions arise the moment you even mention the word “singing.” “I’m shy”, “I don’t sound good”, “it’s just for singers”, I can't do it, etc. This is not so! Every one of us has a voice. It just requires practice, an experience of incorporated sensations and guidance that prepares you to find from where you sing, the strength and confidence to walk this road on your own. When you are supported in exploring and discovering this amazing sacred tool inside it can expand your experience of life, allow in more joy and bring opportunities to break through old paradigms of thinking. There is only one key to singing…. authenticity.
