My friends, it's Thanksgiving time!

I am blessed everyday here. I get greetings from you...sending me love, books, magazines, funny jokes and serious cards...and many of you working hard to get me back home. Thank you so much for lifting my spirits and keeping my hope for justice alive.

There are many reasons to give thanks. Though I am far away from home, (it's about eighteen hours round trip), I still get visitors. I am blessed with the best friends and family and lawyers, people who care about me and who are helping me daily to find a way out of this prison where I am locked in time while being aware of it passing!

I am blessed by our Creator with a remarkable human shell hosting my soul, mind and physical being. I am blessed with good health, strength, food, and clothing. I am also blessed with a place to sleep and shelter from the weather.

I am blessed by our Creator with all His strange creations, creatures...stray dogs, cats, wild birds and bees...and here...very big mosquitoes....not sure about the blessing in them however!

Blessed with sunrises and sunsets, days with clear blue skies and white puffy clouds, stormy, now cold days with wind and rain....and night skies filled with the marvels of the universe, the moon, planets and stars...what an awesome sight!

I am blessed and thankful for you, the work that you've done, the contributions you have made, the letters you've written and for the dream you've kept alive of going back to my family and back to work to change things for the better for others.

The blessing is having a hope and dream of being with family and friends again one day. Thank you for giving me that hope.
