Data Quality Analyst Business Intelligence
we are in need of a Data Quality Analyst with SQL experience. The organization has a growing Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing environment with a mix of both staff and contract developers. With just a couple years into the technology, the business and IT are working standardizing data sets and ensuring a common model that works for business units across the company. You will have ownership of Data Quality, work closely with the business on their data as well as working with the BI/EDW team to ensure the quality of the data is consistent with standards that are set. You will work with solving data quality issues as well as driving new standards with the business and IT.
The following is what we are looking for:
REQUIRED
- 3-5 years of if data quality analysis in this specific role or as a business intelligence developer or report writer.
- Ability to build, follow, and interpret use case scenarios.
- Experience in logical and physical database design and modeling.
- Understand SQL and relational and multi-dimensional designs.
- Experience with translating business questions and requirements into reports and views.
- Data quality assessment skills
- Conceptual and analytic skills.
- Knowledge of BI tool architectures, functions, and features.
PREFERRED
- Experience in establishing methodologies and procedures based on industry best practices.
- Query performance tuning.
- Metadata management.
- Experience developing and implementing data quality metrics and thresholds.
DESIRED
- Gaming and Hospitality Domain knowledge
- Understands and utilizes all appropriate tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, etc
