MIAMI, FLA. – September 10, 2013- Come join designer Liliana Salazar as she previews “All Naturaaal”, her new ARTESANIAS Fall 2013 Collection at ART WALK on September 14, 2013 from 5pm to midnight. “All Naturaaal” will take root and be on full display at Art Walk with an official release via e-shop (www.lilianasalazar.com) to follow on Monday, September 16th. This Fall Collection completes a year since the first launch of ARTESANIAS By Liliana Salazar- an eco-friendly accessory line that honors the art of natural elements handcrafted into original and fashionable accessories native to Colombia.
ART WALK, held on the second Saturday of every month, is free to the public, making it easy for art aficionados of all ages to experience the scope of original art offered throughout the city of Miami. The event will provide a taste of the new, exotic materials used for the Fall Collection "All Naturaaal": dragon fruit, watermelon, coffee beans, hortencia, casco de vaca, and (real) butterfly wings. This range of natural elements are than fashioned by skilled Colombian artisans into hand-crafted and hand-painted earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, cuffs, and purses for the exclusive innovatively green accessory line, ARTESANIAS By Liiana Salazar. Featuring a custom-built creative display, Liliana’s “pop-up shop” will allow buyers to revel in Colombian seed jewelry available in a variety of chic color palettes sure to complement all skin tones.
On her recent trip to Medellin, Colombia, Liliana had the privilege to meet with the artisans to creatively collaborate and provide feedback from her growing eco-conscious clientele. During her meetings and visits, Liliana obtained an understanding of their technique and skill level according to their specializations of mediums (i.e. fruits, cacho, caña flecha) by ways of demonstration captured on videos available for viewing at ARTWALK. In partnership with the artisans, Liliana is planting a collection of her own designs set to be harvested in Medellin, Colombia and ripe to digest next year in an exclusive showcase in Miami's Hidden Countryside, creating the perfect NATURE inspired backdrop while capturing the collection’s essence.
ART WALK is located at 36th St S to 20th St, between NE 2nd Ave and NW 6th Ave, Miami, FL 33137 and will be open from 5pm to midnight.
