Dear St. Andrew's Families,

Students returned to campus about an hour ago after cheering on an inspired girls basketball team that put the two-time defending state champion Sanford Warriors on their heels before ultimately falling short.

The game was out of reach in the final seconds, but the girls never quit and the fans continued to cheer to show their unfailing support and appreciation. The girls ended their season tied for the most wins in School history with 16.

It has been a great week at the end of a wonderful winter filled with opportunity. Yesterday, I walked through Amos Hall and found dance teacher Avi Gold co-teaching Will Porter's III Form English class as they discussed the rhythm and flow of a Walt Whitman poem. Across the hall, religion teacher Nate Crimmins was sharing his experience bicycling across America with Peter McLean's AS Environmental Science students. In the afternoon, I saw Megan Hasse '14 teaching a volunteer dance class to her peers and Jordan Boutte '15 teaching calligraphy alongside Louisa Zendt. The complex ecosystem of teaching and learning on campus is absolutely thriving right now.

This will be the last email until break ends. We hope you enjoy these next few weeks with your sons and daughters.

Sincerely,
Will Robinson '97
