RAISE UP PHILIPPINES:

A Print and Art Benefit for Typhoon Haiyan Relief

December 17, 2013, New York City, NY. Bunnycutlet Gallery, Toy Tokyo and M27 Designs proudly present Raise Up Philippines: A Print and Art Benefit for Typhoon Haiyan Relief on Friday, January 3, 2014, from 6-10pm. The Bunnycutlet Gallery, named Best New Gallery in 2013 by The Village Voice, will house the event at 158 Roebling Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. For one day only, art collectors, lovers, and supporters will have an opportunity to bid on a diverse selection of low-brow, graffiti, pop and street art through silent auction. 100% of the proceeds go directly to UNICEF Philippines.

Nearly 12 million people, including 6 million children, were affected by Typhoon Haiyan and are still desperately in need of shelter, clean water, medicine and nutrition. A powerhouse lineup of exceptional creative minds have gathered together to raise funds by donating artwork and prints to auction toward much needed assistance for the storm-ravaged Philippines.

This stellar lineup will feature artwork and prints of some of today’s most influential tastemakers including: Simone Legno of Tokidoki, Tara McPherson, and O.G. Slick, alongside popular New York and Florida-based Filipino artists: Gigi, Grace, and Leo Angelo Bio (8x10 Collective) and Anthony Castro. This showcase will be an uplifting experience for the people of the Philippines, citizens of New York, and beyond. Start the new year right!
