For almost a decade, Scott London has been documenting Burning Man one of the world's most fascinating and mind-blowing events. Burning Man is a week-long celebration of free-form creativity and radical self- expression held each summer in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. It's not quite an art festival, not quite a desert rave, and not quite a social experiment — but something of all three.
Scott's award-winning photographs from the annual event are now available for sale through the gallery.

"These party-goers can be considered modern day versions of basara or kabukimono, social rebels in Japan's medieval and early modern times, who were known for their daring, outlandish dress and behavior."

News Update about Adore Noir's Portfolio Contest
Adore Noir is a fine art photography magazine available in digital (PDF) format which features in-depth interviews and portfolios from both noted and emerging artists.
Adore Noir has announced an extension to its 2012 Portfolio Contest until June 30th. I'm pleased to have been invited by Chris Kovacs, Editor of Adore Noir, to work with him in reviewing the portfolio submissions. The winners of the contest will be featured in the October 2012 issue.
Each of the six photographers chosen will receive a twelve page spread along with a Q&A interview in Adore Noir. One of the six finalists will have an image chosen by me to appear on the cover. The cover image will also appear on the Adore Noir website with a link to the selected photographers website for two months.
