Welcome to my world!

Here's what's happening in my studio...

I saw the fruition of a year's worth of work; writing, photography and editing, with the release of my book, "The Jewelry Maker's Design Book: an Alchemy of Objects" early this year. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be able to offer this work of love. It's loaded with tons of design information and tips, as well as techniques and is available through Amazon (I really have a book on Amazon?!...yes!) or, you can order a copy, signed by yours truly, from my blog, here. I hope you enjoy it!

Where I've been...

I started the year teaching in Tuscon, Az...in February...for the lovely Barb Solem of Vivi Magoo Presents. Her Art Retreat in the Desert is now officially one of my very favorite venues. Along with the opportunity to teach an amazing group of students was the chance for me to shop the Tuscon gem shows...for the very first time. Wow...what a blast that was! I can't wait to go back, next Feb. It's the perfect combination of jewelry making and treasure hunting!

In March I got the chance to teach, once more, for the lovely ladies of artBLISS; Cindy Wimmer and Jeanette Ryan. I LOVE this venue. Having my girl Diane Cook there, made it even better. We Texas gals put on our boots for a fantastic little shin-dig called Boots & Bliss. The students were so enthusiastic and wildly creative and, guess what...it snowed!

Where I'm going...

Right here in Texas, I'll be teaching a very small group of ladies my Eruption Cuff, in May. This one is filled but I'll be sure to let ya'll know if any spots come open.
I may be teaching another venue here in Houston, as well...time and date yet to be arranged. Stay tuned!

Art Unraveled...what can I say about this fabulous event? I'm so blessed to be able to teach here. I adore Phoenix (yes, even in late July, early August!) and Linda Young, our fearless organizer, makes it easy and fun. I hope you can join me for this hold-on-to-your-horses-blast-of-creativity event!

Online Classes...

There are only a few days left to register for my current online offering, The Alchemy of Objects. Registration is open until April 6 and the last day of class is April 20. Don't worry if you missed it, this time...I'll be offering it again! Also, I'm beyond excited about my next online workshop which is all about creating your very own jewelry journal, based on my journal. This one is a little bit different and will include mixed media, my altered cabinet cards, collage, and a special binding that includes some jewelry making techniques that you're gonna love. It's called Artisan's Daybook. Please check my blog for the details, soon, as this class is still in the making. I plan it to go live for this summer.

This year looks to be a little less hectic for me, work-wise, than the last. I'm hoping that enables me to get back into the studio more, work on new online workshops and keep up with what you all are doing!

Love to you, my peeps!
