The official registrations period for the 2014 ATHENS MARATHON. THE AUTHENTIC, just opened! The Athens Marathon event includes the Marathon Race - held on the original Marathon Course, the same route used during the 1st Modern Olympic Games back in 1896 as well as the 2004 Athens Olympic Games – a 10km Road Race held on the last part of the Marathon course, and a 5km Road Race held in the city centre of one of the most beautiful cities of the world, Athens. With more than 30,000 participants during last year’s edition, registrations are expected to close soon enough this year.
