LIGHTEN UP - Outdoor Lighting and Post-Processing

001

Do you fear full sun as much as Dracula?

Do you hope that there is shade wherever you are shooting?
Do you wish you could shoot other times of day than the "golden hour"?

Do you have trouble with color consistency across your portfolio? Could your clients hang photos from 2013 next to photos from 2010 without a noticeable difference?
Do you wish that your black and whites had more depth?

From intermediate newer photographers to seasoned professionals, our workshops have been helping photographers do all of the above since 2009. Many people have expressed interest in attending workshops over the years but I haven't made it to their city or they have been unable to travel. The information from the workshops has been broken down into smaller "digestible" workbooks for you to study at your leisure in your own home.

Second up in our series is LIGHTEN UP-Outdoor Lighting and Post-Processing. In this 70 page workbook, I will show you how to be confident shooting in any outdoor lighting conditions at any time of day- without an assistant, using minimal equipment. I will also go over, in detail, my post processing from camera to client including my tips on getting consistent, natural skin tones and rich, deep black and whites. The post-processing portion includes step by step instruction for Adobe Camera Raw (and Lightroom) as well as Photoshop with screen shots.

We take your learning seriously and have asked readers of book 1 (Get Real- Authentic, Emotional Outdoor Family Portraiture) to give us feedback on how we can make the next book better. We listened carefully! The following are improvements that were made to LIGHTEN UP

Praise for Book One in the Series "GET REAL"

" I love your book! Have spent thousands on workshops and this book has more information in it than all of them combined."

"I devoured the entire book in one sitting and plan to read it again and again! As someone who has been in the business for several years and is technically strong, I found it to be just what I needed and am so grateful for it."

"Experimented all your tips and today tried them on my own kids that are very unwilling to colaborate... The results are overwhelming! "
