2014 Specialty Nursery Guide

The 2014 Specialty Nursery Guide will return as a booklet for 2014 AND again produced as both online and print publications. The booklet will be limited to 32 page full color with the option to expand to 20 page.
This is a gorgeous publication. The Specialty Nursery Guide offers an outstanding value to our members and advertisers. Distribution to your target market at a fraction of the cost of single print advertising in local newspapers and insert flyers.
Complimentary copies of the Specialty Nursery are available at events, classes and locations throughout Oregon and Washington. Consumers will have the option to download/print copies from home as well.
All current (dues paid by Dec. 31) SNACC members receive a complimentary, single line listing.
SNACC members may opt to expand their exposure to include display ads and/or detailed nursery descriptions.
Over the years the Specialty Nursery Guide has proven to be a useful tool to local gardeners. SNACC continues to receive requests for print copies throughout the year. Complimentary copies of the Annual Specialty Nursery Guide are provided to local schools, associations and clubs as well as to garden related workshop and event participants. We continue to work on increasing the visibility for all our members while decreasing our impact on the environment. Deadline to be in the 2014 Guide is Dec. 31, 2013.

Conifer Kingdom’s First Annual Photo Contest
A great way to show off your garden, your trees, and your photography skills.
You don’t have to be a professional photographer,
or even the most extreme plant collector, all you have to do is take some good photos of your favorite plants or gardens.
Contest Categories
Detail shots: Get ready for your close up! Photos in this category should focus on leaves, needles, cones, seeds, and the like.
Cultivars: For this category, the subject should be a single dwarf conifer, Japanese maple, or other unique tree.
The image can include other trees but should focus on a single variety.
Garden or Collection: This category is meant to showcase your garden or collection as a whole
(or as much of it as you can fit in the frame!). Preference will be given to collections including Japanese maples and dwarf conifers.
Witch’s Brooms in situ: Are you a broom hunter? This category is for you! Here’s your chance to showcase your latest finds.
All witch’s broom photos should be shown in the tree the broom was found in.
