Our remodeled showroom is providing respite and inspiration for folks in downtown Frankfort.  With temperatures consistently in the 80's we have seen lots of people in the store!  Our upstairs gallery (read more below) has been a success!  We are looking forward to continuing to bring you the best in home decor, whether it sits on the floor or hangs on your wall our entire staff at Betsie Bay Furniture looks forward to understanding, serving and inspiring you!

We are showing the oil paintings of Peggy Hawley, Douglas David, Ellie Harold and Jacquelyn Bischak.  We are also featuring Mix Media pieces from Pat Denison, sculptures from Elton Henning and water colors from Richard Forest.  
We are excited to be featuring artwork from Jacquelyn Bischak in our upstairs gallery!  Born in Ann Arbor, MI, Jacquelyn has exhibited her paintings around Michigan, Texas, Arizona and California.  Her Northern Michigan Landscapes that are featured, will both inspire you and bring pleasant colors to the palette of your room.  To learn more about Jacquelyn, head to her website here.  We think Jacquelyn sums it up best on her website, "Great paintings should lift us out of everyday life and bring consolation."

Summer is Northern Delight

We have been spending a good amount of time at the beach.  Whether we are on a SUP(stand up paddle board), surfboard, swimming or just hanging out around a campfire, summer is a great time to take advantage of all that surounds us in Northern Michigan.  This is also are first summer "back in Frankfort" as we have moved into our new loft space above the store.  It's been great to be closer to work, and closer to the beach!  We are excited to open up our loft space on August 2 for the Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Auxiliary 30th Annual Tour of Interesting Places (for more info head here). We'll see you soon, either at the store, or beating the heat next to the inland sea that we call Lake Michigan.
