Help us "MAKE THE MATCH" and keep rescue operations strong!
We have been busy (!), and our expenses have grown accordingly.
The costs to rescue the two ponies have exceeded $5,000, and the costs for the seven horses hit $8,000. Expenses to provide daily care until they can be adopted out to safe homes will continue to grow.
Fortunately, we have a generous donor who has offered to match all donations up to $1,000. As a nonprofit organization, HSSF relies solely on your generosity and compassion not only to rescue abused and neglected animals, but also to get them prompt medical care, restore their health, find safe homes, and work with authorities to bring charges against the perpetrators. If you can respond with your most generous gift possible, it will be doubled and would help these animals immensely.
We knew there was a huge need for Humane Officers in Placer County when we started our program. The many calls and the dire situations have confirmed the need as well as strengthened our commitment to animal welfare. We can do the work only with funding assistance from you. Please make as generous a donation as you can before April 8th to have it matched dollar for dollar, and please inform your friends and family of the need.
Thank you for your love of animals and continuing support.
