OPEN CALL, DE-TOUR ISSUE
Following the concept of drifting, as proposed by Situationist thinker and writer Guy Debord, (e)L Paper Magazine invites artists, writers, architects, and photographers to undertake their own detours (alone, or in groups of two or three), leaving behind their own routines and daily obligations. We encourage collaborations between two or three artists from different disciplines to drift/detour/get lost together, experiencing their own route within a neighborhood, building, city, or country.

SITUATIONALIST
Situationist: (1) Related to the theory and practice of actively constructing situations. (2) Someone who engages her or himself to constructing situations. (3) A member of The Situationist International.

Situationalism: Meaningless term, abusively derived from the preceding term. There is no situationalism, which would mean a doctrine for interpreting existing conditions. The notion of situationalism is obviously conceived by antisituationalists.

Psychogeography: The study of the effects of the geographical environment, consciously organized or not, acting directly on the emotional behavior of individuals.

Psychogeographical: Relating to psychogeography. That which manifests the direct action of the environment on the effects.

Psychogeographer: One who researches and reports on psycho-geographical realities.

Drift: (1) A mode of experimental behavior linked to the conditions of urban society. (2) Technique of rapid passage through varied ambiances. It is also used, more specifically, to describe the duration of the continued exercise of such an experience.

DESVÍOS. NOS VAMOS DE GIRA

Hemos estado recibiendo propuestas bastante interesantes, pero falta la tuya. Sal, manos en los bolsillos, camina un poco, piérdete, y mira alrededor.

Tomando el concepto de la deriva del escritor y pensador situacionista Guy Debord, eL Paper Magazine invita a artistas y escritores, arquitectos y fotógrafos, a emprender, solos o en grupos de dos o tres personas, sus propios desvíos, dejando atrás rutina y quehaceres cotidianos. Alentamos las colaboraciones entre dos o tres artistas de distintas disciplinas a derivar/desviarse/perderse juntos, creando su propia ruta al interior de un barrio, edificio, ciudad, país.

SITUACIONALISTA
Situacionista:
Lo que se relaciona con la teoría y la actividad práctica de una construcción de situaciones. El que se dedica a construir situaciones. Miembro de la Internacional Situacionista.

Situacionismo:
Vocablo carente de sentido, forjado abusivamente por derivación del tema precedente. No hay situacionismo, lo que significaría una doctrina de interpretación de los hechos existentes. Evidentemente la noción de situacionismo es concebida por los antisituacionistas.

Psicogeografìa: Estudio de los efectos del medio geográfico, ordenado conscientemente o no, actuando directamente sobre el comportamiento afectivo de los individuos.

Psicogeográfico: Relativo a lo psicogeográfico. Lo que manifiesta la acción directa del medio sobre la efectividad.

Psicogeógrafo: Que investiga y transmite las realidades psicogeográficas.

Deriva: Modo de comportamiento experimental ligado a las condiciones de la sociedad urbana: técnica de paso apresurado a través de ambientes variados. Se usa también, más particularmente, para designar la duración de un ejercicio continuo de esta experiencia.
