Kamikaze Games, where we dare you to take the plunge into something a little more tantalizing, is committed to bringing you the finest anime-style imported and translated games that walk on the wild side.
On Tuesday, March 18th, noon Eastern Standard Time, Kamikaze Games will be starting its first Kickstarter for the English printing of the wildly popular Japanese game, Barbarossa.
Barbarossa takes a playful look at a serious moment in history: World War 2. Take an army of anime cuties, the third reich, and help them defeat the Russian army and conquer Russia! Barbarossa is a deckbuilding game, and plays with 2-5 players.
The Kickstarter Campaign is set to run for 30 days, and has pledge levels of $20, $50, $75, and $200. Stretch goals focus on alternate art for key cards, including some fantastic live-model cards! The targeted goal to produce this game is $10,000.
Eric Price, the Owner of Global Games Distribution and President of Kamikaze Games is excited about this much-anticipated launch. “Barbarossa has been a highly requested translation, and I am happy we have the right team to release it with. We expect this to be a successful campaign.” Mr. Price has been the spearhead of five successful Kickstarter campaigns in the past, and is confidant that Barbarossa will be number six.
