The forum will take place from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The Center Carriage House, 570 Broad Street, Providence, Rhode Island.

The overall goal of the DBE Program is to ensure that firms owned and controlled by minorities, women, and other socially and economically disadvantaged persons have the opportunity to grow and become self-sufficient. BUS STOP REALIGNMENT PROJECT UPDATE

The Bus Stop Realignment Project, which will consolidate bus stops statewide, is currently in Phase 6 of implementation. 236 bus stops were removed during the first 5 phases.

The intent of this project is to improve passenger experience and route efficiency through more consistent spacing of stops. The removal and realignment of many stops system wide will allow RIPTA to reduce bus stop redundancy, operate more efficiently, reduce conflicts with neighboring properties and parking, and focus investment on the remaining bus stops. This means faster bus service for you and savings for us! For more detailed information, including an implementation schedule, visit ripta.com/stops.

REDEEM YOUR REWARDS!

Get rewarded for riding RIPTA! Through the Rider Rewards Program, RIPTA is offering discounts at local businesses with the purchase of any RIPTA fare product.

RIPTA partnered with an array of great businesses to help promote the use of transit. Launch Trampoline Park, Dash Bicycle Shop, and more have all agreed to offer specialized discounts for the RIPTA Rider Rewards Program.

In order to access these discounts, passengers must ask the driver for a rider receipt. Each receipt is good for one discount, at one location, for a one time use. The more you ride, the more opportunities you have to save. The rider receipt must be redeemed on the date marked on the receipt (the day of the bus ride).

Click here for a complete list of the businesses participating in the RIPTA Rider Rewards Program, their promotional offers, and more information. Businesses interested in participating in the RIPTA Rewards Program should contact Cristy Raposo, Marketing Coordinator at 784-9400x242 or craposo@ripta.com.
