KoKoMos will be open week of spring break.
Hours of operation continuously from 8 am to 5 pm Mon - Thursday, Friday 8 am - 1 pm.

The Millennium Cafe hours are as follows:
Brunch Hours from 10:30 am - 12 pm
Dinner Hours from 5 pm - 7 pm
Burger King will operate from 10 am - 8 pm daily

From now until 5 pm on March 20, submit your graphics to lfbluefort@jcsu.edu with the subject line "Denim Day Contest" for a chance to have your design printed and featured on Denim Day 2014 on April 23. FACULTY AND STAFF NEWS

As part of the 147th Founders’ Day Celebration, the University will host its Sixth Annual “Arch of Triumph” Gala featuring the Arch of Triumph Awards Ceremony. The Gala will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Charlotte Convention Center Ballroom.
The University is setting aside 150 discount tickets for faculty and staff at the reduced rate of $100 per ticket for the Gala. Regular tickets to the Gala are $150 and $250. JCSU has set up a payroll deduction option for employees to deduct equal amounts from your paycheck for up to two (2) months (see form below). Tickets at this reduced rate are on a first come, first serve basis. Monthly and bi-weekly payroll deductions will begin in March. Tickets may also be purchased using a major credit card. Please keep in mind that the event is a fundraiser for the University, and each ticket purchased will include a contribution to the JCSU Fund. Please fill out the below form:

Travel Policy Announcement
JCSU has engaged Mann Travels to provide travel services for our organization. All business travel which involves airline, rental car and/or hotel reservations, should be arranged through Mann Travels.

We are pleased to announce the official launching of the pilot phase of the
Nationally Competitive Scholarships/Fellowships Program (NCSF).
The Through the Looking Glass Competition is designed to identify students who demonstrate an interest in improving their skills in Thinking, Writing, and Speaking at a high level of discourse that will allow them to compete successfully with students at other notable institutions for coveted scholarships and fellowships.

The first application engagements will begin in the Fall 2014.
Training will begin this semester and through the summer. If you know students with potential and interest, please encourage them to

JCSU ATHLETICS HOSTS UFIT FOR THE ANNUAL QUEEN CITY CHEER AND DANCE CLASSIC March 15 in Brayboy Gym 3 p.m.
This event is open and free to the public.
The UFIT Queen City Cheer and Dance Classic will allow the activities of cheerleading and dance to be recognized on a non-competitive level in Charlotte, NC. Teams from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community, surrounding areas and neighboring states will showcase their team’s talent in a healthy and positive environment.
