If you didn't notice at the top of this newsletter, there are some other changes happening at Ashleigh Wells Photography. We have a brand new, shiny logo! We have also been working on redesigning the blog and site to match this. Please note there are a few items we are still waiting on printing for with the new logo so there may be some items when you get your order that still have the old logo until we have it all updated (we're almost done with the full change over though so it will all be consistent soon!).
We have also recently changed our pricing based on feedback from our most valuable source (YOU GUYS!). The details are now up on the website. Click HERE to visit the site Click "Enter Site" and then review the categories in the drop down menu under the "Prices" tab for more information.
We have also learned a little more about ourselves and our business this year (as we always hope to) and as a result wanted to clarify a few of our policies and the reason for them.
The main policy we struggled with this year, was the 7 day ordering policy. Once your images are fully edited, there is a gallery that goes up for 7 days for families to choose from. In the contract it states there is a $50 rehost fee for orders not placed in this time frame.
In all honesty it has been hard for us to charge this as we understand how busy things can get (especially with little ones running around). However, by not sticking to that and keeping up with checking in on our end, we have run into numerous occasions where we get more orders coming in at one time than planned for. This can lead to confusion on both ends as to when orders will be ready and in the placement of orders as well as our own mental health haha! Therefore, this year, there will be the $50 rehost fee for orders not placed in the 7 day time frame unless prior arrangements have been made and when orders do have to come in outside that time frame please understand that it may take us more than the allotted 2 weeks to get your order out (up to 5 weeks) as we MUST attend to the orders of those families who got them in on time first.
