I continue to love Mad Mimi. They recently changed their stats options and I am LOVING the ability to see exactly how many people are clicking on every single one of my links in my useletters. In the image, those yellow bubbles tell me percentages of clicks and I can hover to see exact numbers. It's very handy to know what you all like and don't. Mad Mimi makes managing an email list super-d-duper.
2. How to turn your tablet into a design studio
I downloaded a new iPad app this week called Makr. It's for designing things on your tablet, like holiday photo cards, business cards, labels, gift tags, postcards and lots more. It is cool people. Stuff like this makes me excited.

I just realized Goodreads has over 2 million readers in their community. Hello. So I signed up for their Author Program which opens up more opportunities for promotion. If you've written an ebook or book, you might consider it.
4. How to buy time in an email exchange
An empty inbox makes me feel less bogged down and more productive. Sometimes I get an email that I need to deal with but I don't have the time to do so immediately. I don't like leaving things in my inbox for later or adding tasks unnecessarily to my to-do list, so I have a trick. I'll shoot a quick question to the person I'm in conversation with. This puts the ball back in their court, buys me time and then when they reply, serves as a reminder to answer when (hopefully) I have more time to respond.
