The second event of HOME network, a project by Kalina Ntampiza, architect engineer and industrial designer and Polina Zioga, multimedia visual artist, in collaboration with Alexandros Nikolaos Ziogas, electrical and computer engineer, has been selected and will be presented as part of Connecting Cities Urban Media Lab, at iMAL, Brussels, Belgium, 13-21 June 2014.
The Lab is organised by iMAL in the framework of the European project Connecting Cities : Participatory City 2014, initiated by Public Art Lab (Berlin) in cooperation with Ars Electronica Futurelab Linz, Amber Platform Istanbul, FACT Liverpool, iMAL Brussels, m-cult Helsinki, Medialab Prado Madrid, Media Architecture Institute Vienna, Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, Riga 2014 and Videospread Marseille.

The Glasgow School of Art

On Friday, 23 May 2014, a major fire occurred at the historic Mackintosh Building of The Glasgow School of Art (UK).
The School owes an enormous debt of gratitude to the teams from the Police and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for their rapid response, extraordinary bravery and for their incredible respect not just for the world famous building, but for the works of art contained within it.
At the same time, the Governors, staff and students have been touched by the huge outpouring of sympathy following the fire that affected the Mackintosh Building. For those wishing to help in a practical way, more important information can be found here. |

H δεύτερη δράση του HOME network, ένα πρότζεκτ της Καλίνας Νταμπίζα, αρχιτέκτονα μηχανικού και βιομηχανικής σχεδιάστριας και της Πωλίνας Ζιώγα, εικαστικής καλλιτέχνιδας πολυμεσικών εφαρμογών, σε συνεργασία με τον Αλέξανδρο Νικόλαο Ζιώγα, ηλεκτρολόγο μηχανικό και μηχανικό Η/Υ, επιλέχθηκε και θα παρουσιαστεί στο πλαίσιο του Connecting Cities Urban Media Lab, στο iMAL, Βρυξέλλες, Βέλγιο, 13-21 Ιουνίου 2014.
To Lab οργανώνει το iMAL στο πλαίσιο του Ευρωπαϊκού πρότζεκτ Connecting Cities : Participatory City 2014, η πρωτοβουλία του οποίου ανήκει στο Public Art Lab (Berlin) σε συνεργασία με το Ars Electronica Futurelab Linz, το Amber Platform Istanbul, το FACT Liverpool, το iMAL Brussels, το m-cult Helsinki, το Medialab Prado Madrid, το Media Architecture Institute Vienna, το Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, το Riga 2014 και το Videospread Marseille.

Την Παρασκευή, 23 Μαΐου 2014, εκδηλώθηκε μεγάλη πυρκαγιά στο ιστορικό κτίριο Mackintosh του Glasgow School of Art (Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο).
Η Σχολή οφείλει τεράστια ευγνωμοσύνη στις ομάδες της Αστυνομίας και της Πυροσβεστικής για την άμεση ανταπόκρισή τους, τη γενναιότητα και τον σεβασμό που έδειξαν όχι μόνο στο διεθνούς φήμης κτίριο, αλλά και στα ίδια τα έργα τέχνης που αυτό εμπεριέχει.
Το σύνολο του προσωπικού και οι φοιτητές έχουν συγκινηθεί από την τεράστια εκδήλωση συμπάθειας μετά τη φωτιά που επηρέασε το κτίριο Mackintosh. Για όσους θέλουν να βοηθήσουν μ' έναν πρακτικό τρόπο, περισσότερες σημαντικές πληροφορίες υπάρχουν εδώ. |
