Happy October!
Fall is my favorite time of year!
When I first moved to the Bay Area, I missed the quintessential East Coast falls--brisk days, apple picking, changing leaves, sweaters, cider, etc. During the first year, my dad even mailed me a package full of crisp and sweet-smelling fall leaves. After admiring them, I used them to become a realistic "autumn" for Halloween.
After living in a "fall"-less San Francisco for four years, I have finally found pieces of autumn glory in Oakland. Oak leaves transforming from green to amber, cool sunny mornings, and pumpkin patches, all remind me of New England.
This is an exciting season for IMPRESSED by nature too. Not only are the natural transformations inspiring, but there are also some fun, new events coming up this month.
I hope you are enjoying fall where you are!
