The United South & Eastern Tribes (USET) has partnered with the US EPA, USDA, and the Indian Health Service (IHS) to present a workshop April 10 to highlight small system management concerns and to provide a valuable opportunity for improving small system operations. The workshop will held in conjunction with the 2013 Tribal Utility Summit, detailed below.

At the workshop you will:
* Learn about key areas of management effectiveness;
* Conduct a guided self assessment of your utility's management strengths and weaknesses; and
* Consider practices, tools, and measures for improving utility performance.

Water Distribution – Level 1

This three-day course trains participants in Level 1 water distribution system operations. Course topics include drinking water disinfection, hydraulics, pumps, water storage, fire hydrants, meters and valves, and the Safe Drinking Water Act.

4th Annual Tribal Utility Summit

April 8-11 | Nashville, TN
Co-sponsored by USET, IHS and USEPA
Training credits will be available for drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water and wastewater laboratory analysts.
