Hello!

It's been a busy month here with lots of travel for both work and play. This day next month we'll be toasting to our first night in our new home!! I've been starting to pack up a bit as I'll be up there twice in the next few weeks for weddings - I figure if I bring stuff up now it will take pressure off of moving day!

Last week I mentored two students from my high school (Deerfield) that are interested in photography. It was fun to hear their questions and try to provide some good advice :)

Tomorrow I head up to Vermont for Laura & Pete's wedding - the weather looks great for Saturday so fingers crossed they will be good to go for their outdoor ceremony at a farm in Cornwall!

▪ Last weekend Jeff and I were at the lake for a quiet summer getaway which made me go ahhhhhh :)
▪ We also spent Memorial Day weekend at the lake and mowed the grass which was long overdue!

▪ I loved visiting some friend's baby lambs when I was up in Vermont in early May
▪ In late April I visited my Dad during the peak of the cherry blossoms
▪ A collection of I-Phone photos of the doggies....sometimes that "camera" is what's around!
▪ A few photos from my April trip to the Bahamas where I second shot a wedding....the morning after I visited the famous Atlantis aquariums and had a blast photographing the fishies!!

▪ Peter & Meredith are planning ahead.....they are getting married in June 2013 but a few weeks ago we met up in Central Park for their engagement photos

▪ It's so fun to re-connect with families - I last saw this one when their older daughter was just six days old. I came back as they welcomed their second daughter Catherine!
▪ I met up with this sweet family at their home in Litchfield over Memorial Day Weekend
▪ 2 Year Old Ellie will become a big sister in November! We met up last week to get some updated photos of her and also take some photos that will reveal the gender of her new sibling....a girl!
▪ I hadn't seen this family since their daughter was six weeks old....time flies!
▪ I visited my friends Joe & Alyssa in Austin, Texas and loved photographing their adorable seven month old son Hamilton!
▪ When I was visiting Vermont in early May I got to spend a lot of time with Fia - one of my favorite subjects :)
▪ Henry wasn't even a week old when I photographed him :)

▪ I listened to Blood, Bones, and Butter as an audio book on my way up to Maine and loved it!
▪ When Everything Changed is a book about the women's movement from 1960 to the present - it sometimes takes me forever to read non-fiction but this book was well written and I breezed through it - amazing how so much has changed in a relatively short period of time!
