Happy Valentine's Day from a Winter Wonderland!
Hope everyone is enjoying all this snow - it sure beats freezing temperatures without snow so I'm ok with it. It's been nice that it's been a tad warmer lately - the dogs whiz blissfully down the driveway and Norah passes out in the front pack within about two minutes of feeling the fresh air. That being said I do look forward to throwing open the windows again and welcoming spring when it does eventually arrive....there is such a nice rhythm to life in New England with the changing seasons.
Last weekend we walked down to my Mom's beach and discovered that the ice had frozen absolutely flawlessly in the bay - the first time I remember that happening. It was so flawless that you could see straight down to the bottom - freaky but so so beautiful. Sadly with the snow that's fallen the last few days I don't think we'll see the open ice again.....but wow what a phenomenon! Jeff took advantage and skated on Sunday with Sage giving chase while I took a zillion pictures! Hopefully by next month I will have blogged them!
Norah will be three months old next week and continues to bring so much joy to our lives. She's smiling a ton and starting to have little "chats" cooing and babbling when we talk to her. Right now she's snoozing which makes her a happy baby and me a happy Mamma - it can definitely be challenging at times to balance work and home :)
Read on for some recent news and have a great weekend!
