The first event for 2014 will be at

7am on Wednesday 12th February

at Muffin Break in the new Marketplace Centre. The speaker will be Di Ind from Di-Monty Training Solutions

Muffin break a franchise (Tanya Coxon), was established with the development of Marketplace and recently a second shop was opened in Centro. Muffin Break have been a Bronze sponsor of WiBRD in 2013 and will continue in 2014.

Established in 2008, Di-Monty Training Solutions) is based in Mount Gambier, providing training and assessment. They have developed and facilitate numerous Employability Skills and Life Coaching training programs to help long term unemployed clients. They also design courses specific to your businesses training needs.

The second event for 2014 will be on

Wednesday March 12th

Meeting at Redgum Country at 6pm, Wendy Richardson will talk about her business strategy. We will then stroll down to Metro Bakery for dinner, where Toni Vorenas will discuss her business strategy. This will be followed by Nicole Cunningham discussing the development of Puraforce Remedies

This year the Sponsors Meet and Greet will be a dinner with Mike Ryan CEO of Limestone Coast RDA as guest speaker. Mike spoke at the AGM of WiBRD recently and we have invited him back to talk to our members about the work of the RDA. This is an important talk to hear as you will be surprised at the array of work undertaken and what resources are available to help you and your business.

Details to follow, but this is a date for your 2014 diary.

A series of Gala and Regional Events is planned for 2014:

February - Sponsors Meet and Greet
May - ” personal growth and development” - a series of sessions to be held around the region. An EOI process to be conducted in late January.
August is Careers Month, event looking at women in careers, stages across working life for women, be they establishing yourself, work life balance, family stage,mature career, retiring etc.
October - ROAD TRIP - following a very successful road trip in the Tatiara a few years ago we aim to followup with a road trip in October. This will enable us to experince first hand some of our local businesses and to network on the bus.
November - the year will culminate with a Gala Dinner with a key note speaker

There is still time to sponsor WiBRD in 2014?

WiBRD is funded through annual membership subscriptions and sponsorship. In order for us to meet the needs of our members, sponsorship is required.

We are currently finalising our 2014 sponsors. If you are current sponsor or you may be interested in sponsoring us in 2014 please contact us.
