Welcome/Welkom!

Welcome to the first Dutch Australian e-newsletter of 2013! I know, it's almost the end of October, but I figure it's never too late to fulfil New Year's Resolutions right? It's currently herfst here in The Netherlands and there are beautiful coloured leaves - and pumpkins - everywhere.

The last Dutch Australian enews I sent out was way back in December 2012 and it seems that this year has just gone by in a blur. If you follow the Dutch Australian Facebook page and website, then you'll know I've been active on there all year, but think it's time to relaunch the monthly enews to summarise what's been happening.

You're receiving this as you've signed up directly or been in contact with me this year specifically about Dutch Australian. So what is Dutch Australian exactly? It's a community founded by myself, Renee Veldman-Tentori, to bring together anyone who has connections to both countries - whether you are originally Dutch and living in Australia, and Australian living in The Netherlands... or any other combination!

I post regularly on the Dutch Australian website with a personal blog about our dual national family as well as share information for others in a similar situation. I write mostly in English as that's my native language but am learning Nederlands and am happy for contributions in either language.

If you have anything to share, please email renee@dutchaustralian.com. If you'd like to unsubscribe, you can do so at any time via the link at the end of this email (and apologies for any inconvenience).

Met vriendelijke groet/Warm regards,

Renée Veldman-Tentori
