As some of you know, I'm going to be having surgery tomorrow (Tuesday) and expect to need a little time to recover. Dear friends will be bringing us meals so that I won't have to cook during my recovery time. So I'll be taking a little break from blogging, but I hope to be up and cooking up some new recipes soon.

I appreciate all of your healing thoughts, prayers, and good vibrations!

Maria writes, "This lunch has a sweet and sour flair to it, without being too sweet or too salty or too processed. The truth is I eyeball all my quantities, so these measurements are my best guess, just to get you into the Asian bowl ballpark." Find her recipe here.

Warm Potato Salad with Spinach and Chickpeas

Frequent FFV contributor Alina was back this week with another hit recipe. She writes, "This warm potato salad is a step aside from the traditional version: it’s cooked in a hot skillet and doesn’t call for mayonnaise or other fattening dressings. I like to stir in a handful of spinach, kale, or any other greens I have on hand, or serve it on top of a veggie salad to make it more filling." Get the recipe here.

You can increase your odds of getting my posts by going to my Facebook page, "Liking" it, and then hovering over the word Like and clicking "Get Notifications."
