On our trip to Baltimore, Maryland, to film for the IN PLAIN SIGHT documentary, we had the opportunity to interview “Hope” who shared with us that she was first sold by her mother at eight years old. After spending many years under the control of a pimp and even chained to a bed for three years, we met her while she was prostituting herself to feed a heroine addiction.

As you may have read in our previous update, we filmed as the staff of The Samaritan Women (a faith-based residential program for survivors of sex trafficking) picked her up the morning after our interview to take her to the emergency room and ultimately to a one-week stay in rehab.

You'll be inspired by this heart-warming update from Jeanne Allert, founder of The Samaritan Women, as she shares about Hope.

CAN YOU HELP WITH AN END OF THE YEAR
TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION?

contributebutton

After raising $44,000, we've filmed in Nashville, Baltimore, and Washington, DC already, and we have just enough money to film in Sacramento, Little Rock, Houston, and Dallas in January and February.

After that, we'll almost be out of money.

Without the remaining $31,000 still needed, we won't be able to complete the IN PLAIN SIGHT documentary. Here's what that money needs to go toward...

video editing,
sound editing,
narration writing,
music,
and coloring.

Frankly $75,000 is a LEAN budget for a project of this size. This is a non-profit campaign, and all donations are tax-deductible within the United States.

EVERY PENNY COUNTS

Some of you can make sizable donations of $5,000 or $10,000, but I want you to know that every penny adds up. No matter what you can donate, it will help make a difference.

1. Watch Natalie Grant (Executive Producer and Narrator) share about the film.

2. Ask yourself, “How much am I being called to invest in this critical campaign to stop sex trafficking in the US?”

3. Make a tax-deductible donation by credit card (click the “Contribute Now” button) or check made out to:

We will be capturing the stories of...

Jenny Williamson, founder of Courage Worldwide.
Two survivors whose lives have been transformed at the Courage House.
A parent of a Courage House resident.
A recently retired FBI agent who oversaw the bureau's focus on sex trafficking in the Sacramento area.
The Henry family as they are educated on sex trafficking in Sacramento for the first time.
