On Saturday, find heartfelt, handmade Valentine gifts in the very heart of Philadelphia, the spot where so many major arteries converge. It's the first ever 30th Street Craft Market, Saturday, February 9 from 11-5 at 30th Street Station. Just in time for Valentine's Day, browse creations by 30 of the Philly region's most talented artisans in this magnificent Art Deco space, America's third busiest railway station. Discover unique, handmade gifts like jewelry, pottery, cards, art prints & originals, glass, woodwork, wearables, paper goods, natural soaps & bodycare, children's items and more. For a sneak peek at some of the wondrous works and their makers, check out the vendor profiles we've been sharing over the past few weeks.

Along with our partners at the University City District, we look forward to seeing you at 30th Street Craft Market's debut. This venue for local art and craft is the newest of many successful public events and projects they bring to our part of town, like the Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll and University City Dining Days. We hope to hold future markets outside on The Porch in warmer seasons, so please stay tuned for future updates.

This Spring's GO WEST! Craft Fest, scheduled for Saturday, April 20, will be our biggest and best Fest yet. Join us for a fun-filled day amongst flowering dogwoods and azaleas at The Woodlands Historic Mansion, Cemetery & Landscape, 40th & Woodland. This will be our third Fest at the Woodlands, a 54-acre green space that is home to a community garden, an 18th century neoclassical mansion (open for tours), an apiary, historically significant trees, and monuments to over 30 thousand deceased Philadelphians. Besides the wide array of local artisans purveying their handmade wares, enjoy live music, food by local eateries, children's activities and acrobatic performances by West Philly's own tinycircus.

If you are interested in vending at GO WEST!, here is the vendor application. Vendors must be the creators of their own wares - no vintage (except repurposed), imports, flea or mass market items are permitted. There is no fee to apply and applications will be open through February 28.

We look forward to reading all the applications and putting together a wonderful springtime Craft Fest. Hope to see you there!

All the best from West Philly,
Emily, Sean and Nora
