A warm winter hello to all you creative souls. Just a quick note to let you know that I have a new venue for my workshops and lessons. I am very excited to be able to share my knowledge and skills at our new studio space in the Artist's Gallery in the Foto Shop on Lakeshore Road in New Liskeard.

Here is my schedule so far:

Saturday, January 26: 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. Introduction to Wire and Bead Jewellery Making

In this class we will explore basic wire working techniques using simple tools. Learn how to create your own simple wire and bead components, and a simple wire wrapped ring.
Cost: $30 plus supplies

A limited number basic tools are available for shared use by participants , or bring your own

Supply list : 1 small roll of 0.8 mm (20 gauge) copper or craft wire, a small assortment of beads with holes large enough to fit through wire, small to medium sized hammer (any type is fine as long as it has one flat, smooth face), a couple of emery boards.

Saturday, February 16 3:30 - 5:30 Ring a Ding, Ding!
You will be amazed at the variety of rings you can make using just wire, beads and pliers! Expand your skills and creativity while creating unique rings for yourself or to give away.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Wire and Beads or previous experience
Cost: $30 plus supplies
Participants are required to supply their own tools. A limited supply of tools will be available to use for a $5.00 fee.

Call or email today to reserve your workshop seat! Registration is limited to 5 per workshop, and preregistration is required. Classes that fail to meet the minimum number of students required will be cancelled.

Reminder: While I certainly understand that last minute emergencies crop up that cannot be helped, please, no last minute cancellations if at all possible. Give no less than 24 hours notice as a basic courtesy so that, if the registration drops below the required number of students, I have time to cancel and notify the other students of the cancellation.
