Spirituality - what is it?

In my belief system the driving principle is that your well-being is dependent on the sum of different aspects of your life. Nutrition is only one but of course significant part of it.

Spirituality, in my mind, is one important part of the equation, too. I have, for some reason, been thinking about it a lot lately. Many people are looking for something and are frustrated because the purpose does not come after all from career, money, things, not even relationships even though they can become very close to spiritual connection.

I started wondering how does spirituality show in people's lives today?

I think there are various ways to feel connected to the universe (to me this is a sign of spirituality). This means you are connected to and with your soul and your soul is part of the universe. You ARE the universe.

Many people find at ease in the nature. Mountains, sea, savanna, countryside, woods, archipelago... There is something irresistible in those. Any place where you can feel the connection with your soul towards something vaster. And be at home.

There are other ways to connect too. Yoga and meditation are excellent ways to empty your head and feel with your soul. Rituals, music and art are are great way to connect, too.

When mind is put aside, the spirituality can kick in.

Where do you find you spirituality?

Purpose in life

‘If you realize that all things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to.
If you are not afraid of dying, there is nothing you cannot achieve.’ ~Lao Tzu

I have been reading a book (among around 20 others :-)). It is called
"The only thing that matters" by Neale Donald Walsch.

It is about figuring out one's purpose in life. Not less.

It brings you to the fundamental question of your existence:
Do you think that this world is just a place you have accidentally been born into, you do your stuff (mostly because you have to) and then you die, and that's it?
Or could it be that this is a journey you are on, this is place to learn and grow for a bigger purpose? Even that this journey was somewhat planned ahead? You can affect the outcome though. It is your choice what is the end result.

My latest blog is a bit related to this topic, too.
Erja's lates blog

Do you know what is the purpose of your life? When do you feel happiest? When is everything possible? What do you want to be? What are you? What could be your purpose in this world?

With these a bit flying thoughts I wish everybody a Happy Easter, enjoy the sun and have fun!!!! Maybe something more grounded in April <3. Take care.

Recipe for the month

This month I replace my recipe with a couple of recommendation about some things I have found useful.

I sport a lot and sometimes a bit of extra energy is needed. I can highly recommend this product:
Restorate
Superb product when you feel the ache in the evening...

Also try other fitness-related products (for example Novak Djokovic is using these). I can highly recommend, too :-).
Protein bars
Energy drink for sports

And my newest discovery, the BEST home made probiotic yoghurt, it is SUPERGood with blueberries or honey for the fresh morning start. This is gold for your stomach and health in general. Just be careful when you start, have only half a dl first, and then make the portion bigger slowly. Guarantee it works immediately! :-D
Order the probiotics and the container:
Probiotics
Container for yoghurt making

QUOTE OF THE MONTH:

SHE DID NOT KNOW IT CANNOT BE DONE SO SHE WENT AND DID IT.

Pretty view

New and good:

I attended Zonta Wellbeing Seminar in Espoo last weekend with a stand there. Nice experience and a lot of beautiful people around.
I suddenly found myself even being responsible for the next year's event, with a great team of Zontas !!

My small scale cooking classes continue, ask if you are interested in.

I am now making an effort to go corporate, too.
