Charleston Farmhouse Inspiration

For her newest collection Charleston Farmhouse, Felicity Miller found inspiration in what is known as the Bloomsbury group of artists, writers, and philosophers in the first half of the twentieth century. Together, they created art on virtually every surface of a Sussex farmhouse at the foot of the South Downs in England. Walls, doors, furniture, fireplaces were canvases, exemplifying a love of simple pleasures and domestic beauty. The result is a natural bohemian vibe that the likes of Anthropoligie endeavors to re-create in their catalog. Enthralled by a visit years ago, Felicity "long cherished the idea of a collection rooted in such play of paint, pattern and color." She hopes you'll create with joy!
