Our 10th Anniversary celebrations are in full swing and we hope you will support our biggest fundraiser of the year – Take a Hike for BAG IT on Sunday, November 3.
Ten years is a huge milestone for any non-profit organization. Yet, here we are - still providing BAG IT resources at no charge to patients! Amazing you say? Yes, indeed! And we need your help to continue this tremendous community service.
So if you have used BAG IT yourself, for someone dear to you, or want to support a much needed service to help people in our community Fight the Fear of cancer – come join us! Now is the time! Bring some friends to enjoy the great outdoors or just join us for the sumptuous brunch. We have special festivities planned that you won’t want to miss! Epic Rides 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo

For the second year, Epic Rides has selected BAG IT as the recipient of the proceeds from the Epic Raffle and registration-based donations. Presented by Tucson Medical Center, it is is one of the largest 24 Hour events in the world with over 3,500 participants, volunteers and spectators throughout the course!

Cheers and bubbles filled the room at Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort on June 9, 2013, as we celebrated 10 years of BAG IT! Guests raised their glasses to toast the momentous occasion before sitting down to a scrumptious four-course, wine-paired dinner expertly prepared by Chef Bruce and his culinary team. |
Besides being lots of fun, the event and auctions raised enough funds to distribute 250 bags of informational materials to assist newly diagnosed cancer patients in our community.
We greatly appreciate all of our guests, donors and sponsors of this event; we couldn’t have done it without you!

Be it the Take A Hike events last November and happening later this fall, or the Epic Rides 24 hours in the Old Pueblo, SUMMIT HUT has stayed the course with BAG IT. That’s right, several of the NCI publications are available in Spanish and they are provided in the bag with the navigation binder which has been fully translated, right down to the tabs! If you are not already ordering the Spanish version to provide to your Spanish-speaking patients and their families, please order them today: orders@bagit4u.org Include your name, office, email, and phone along with the quantity you require.
