Hi everyone,

We're getting pretty excited about all the snow on the Jura and Alps - and we are guessing you are too! We have a fun variety of activities for November and December - it's a great time of year to bundle up and enjoy some fraiche air!

▪ Mon 25 November - Powerwalk - Vich (CH)
This one takes us through a forest and on part of the historical ‘toblerone’ trail near Vich. Try it out as a new jogging or dog-walking route.

▪ Sun 1 December - Family Day - Saint-Cergue (CH)
We’ve put together a festive family day. Enjoy a short hike, tobogganing (in case of early snow) and lunch by an open fire, topped off with the local Christmas market!

▪ NEW Sun 8 December - Cross-country ski course - La Vattay (FR)
Get started early! Try this half-day beginners and intermediate cross-country ski course at La Vattay Nordic Centre in the Jura. Kathy is our fun English-speaking qualified instructor. We’ll work on ‘classic’ technique and then take you out on the trails to practice your new skills. Those interested ‘skating’ technique and advanced classic skiers, please email info@fraicheair.ch.
The full package includes:
▪ lesson with qualified instructor
▪ ski pass
▪ half-day equipment rental
▪ warm drink/snack
▪ extra activity leader for support

▪ NEW Thurs 12 December - Chocolate Walk - Signal de Bougey (CH)
Join us for this festive winter walk in the vineyards and forests near Signal de Bougy. We’ll take you to visit a fabulous artisanal chocolatier to buy your Christmas chocolate. About 1.5 hour walk with 250m elevation gain – ends by 12:30. Optional lunch (not included in activity fee) at a local auberge serving delicious malakoff cheese specialities – ends by 14:30.
