The full moon, strong sun, loud birds and warm weather prove that this week is a real turning point ... and the Easter weekend should top it off beautifully.

On Sunday at the Dinette we'll have our trough set up for sugar taffy, a maple syrup season delight. The rest of the day's menu will be fun too.

Whatever your Spring celebration, you can take M. Wells with you. Custom order any one of the following specialities from our pastry kitchen. We need 24 hours notice and you can pick up your order on Friday, Saturday or Sunday from noon to 6pm at M. Wells Dinette.

Eat-All-Day Pie ... $50
Our 9" pecan chess pie holds a mound of cinnamon rolls, port-soaked-chocolate-enrobed lady fingers, solid dark chocolate eggs and one big mother cream-filled egg with handfuls of chocolate covered corn flakes and spiced mixed nuts dropped on top. Dabble with it early in the day and get to the bottom by dark.

Upside-Down Pineapple Cake ... $35
Pineapples are upon us. Our 8" maple sugar cake will be packed right-side up and sent out with warming instructions. Loosen the pie once the pineapples roast a bit and turn it out to oohs and ahhs. Baked with maraschino cherries.

Rabbit terrine ... $45/lb
Our foie gras rabbit terrine is back. It's cloaked in bacon and pickled mustard seeds and pistachio puree accompany the deliciousness.
