Cardington MPTC has now been open for a year and still no access is given to the public until the day of their Driving Test. Here you can see a video of a drive to and from the Test Centre car park.

Driving tests in foreign languages to be banned to stop learners cheating
Learner drivers are to be banned from taking driving tests in a foreign language to crack down on fraud and boost safety.
From early next year candidates will no longer be able to use prerecorded foreign language voice-overs – which are used to read out questions – or interpreters in theory and practical tests.
The decision by Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin follows a spate of fraud convictions involving ‘back seat’ interpreters who help their clients cheat by using the foreign language to give covert coaching.

Bedford Borough Council is still 'nicking' our 10ps one year on
MOTORISTS are still losing out on 10p every time they park in certain areas of Bedford as the machines won’t accept their old 5p and 10p coins.
In June last year, this newspaper reported that Bedford Borough Council would be upgrading various meters. However, just last week, 15 months later, drivers are still being caught out.
