Registration Open for Merrimack Youth Program

Speed & Conditioning at Andover HS begins June 10

This summer's “speed and conditioning” program for youths between ages 5 and 18 begins on June 10 and continues for 9 more Monday evenings.

Dates -- June 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12
Time -- 6pm to 7:15pm
Location -- Andover HS track
Cost -- $120 per participant

The goal of the program is to develop and enhance the athlete's fitness and conditioning through sessions that improve speed, quickness, balance, agility, form, and sport specific technique.

Participants learn conditioning strategies for future training and continued development throughout their athletic sessions.

Athletes are grouped by age and guided each week by coaches through a variety of drills that focus on the program’s objectives. All drills are designed to maximize the ability and potential of each age group, from the youngest through a challenging program for high school athletes.

Registration Open for North Shore Youth Program

Speed & Conditioning in Peabody begins July 1

Sign-up is available for the North Shore Speed & Conditioning Program. This is an intensive 7-week summer program for Middle and High School athletes ages 10 and older.
The program includes 2 weeks of prep followed by 5 weeks of onsite workouts.

Dates -- July 1-14 at-home prep
July 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31, August 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16 onsite
Time -- 8am to 9:30 xc & football
9am to 10:30 all other sports
Location -- Bishop Fenwick HS
Cost -- $120 per participant

Adult Spring Program

GTD's Spring Session began on April 23 and continues through the end of July. Runners may choose the onsite or email program. Onsite workouts are Tuesday evenings at the Greater Lawrence Technical School in Andover.

Dates -- 15 weeks, from April 22 through August 4, with onsite workouts on Tuesday evenings, starting at 6:00pm (warm-up at 5:45)
Place -- Greater Lawrence Technical School, 57 River Road, Andover

Directions to Greater Lawrence Technical School

From the North:
I-93 South to Exit 45 - River Road toward South Lawrence.
Turn right off of the exit.
At third set of lights, turn left into GLTS driveway.

From the South:
I-93 North to Exit 45 - River Road toward South Lawrence.
Turn left off of the exit.
At second set of lights, turn left into the GLTS driveway.
