Intern in Barcelona

Internships are becoming an important part of higher education, so completing an internship will greatly enhance your knowledge and expertise. Any work experience you can add to your resume will help make you stand out from the rest when starting on the road to seeking permanent employment. However, lots of students get some form of work experience before heading out into the big wide world, so to be one step ahead an international internship is the way to go!

Always dreamed of going to Spain? Always thought about exploring South America?

Participating in an internship abroad gives you the opportunity to travel and live overseas but also presents the chance to gain valuable work experience - both of which will help you immensely in your future job search and will provide you with memories that last forever!

But I don`t speak Spanish!

Choosing an internship abroad can be for many reasons, but the main two are to further your knowledge and expertise in your area of study and language acquisition.

When choosing the kind of international internship you wish to do, you can choose to intern in the sector you`re currently studying or working in or you can choose to do something that you hope to pursue in the future or just something that really interests you. Many people are concerned about the language barrier - how can I intern abroad if I don`t speak the language? It`s true - many internships will require some knowledge of the native language as you will be working alongside local people as colleagues and/or clients. However, there are many internships that are particularly suited to beginner language learners. Adelante programs are all located in Spanish speaking countries and we can accommodate non-Spanish speakers in Spain, Chile, Mexico, Chile or Uruguay. Teaching English is the most obvious choice, but journalism, social media and working with kids are also placements where we have regularly placed Spanish beginners. To live and intern in another country is the BEST way to learn a language - that`s another great boost to your resume!
