Push A Yute Evolves

Push A Yute Productions has worked with a number of established as well as up and coming artistes over the past 3 years since the company was started. It has been instrumental in exposing virtually unknown talents to the Reggae/Dancehall scene.

Within the past 6 months the company has released Pree Dem Riddim a compilation album which features artistes from Jamaica, UK and USA, which is in keeping with producer Vivian Thomas's commitment to taking the music beyond the confines of Jamaica's shores
The company also worked with 3 young men who formed the group Top Gunnerz to release a 18 track mixtape hosted by DJ Blaze of Renaissance Disco and 2 singles, one of which featured International Female artiste Nefatari. Both singles 'Love Dilema and Rise are available on itunes.

With a number of projects in the pipeline such as production of an EP for popular artiste Shane O, Reggae Rock Riddim Album (which also features on Gappy Rank's Cookies EP) and a 7 riddim compilation album, Team Push A Yute has no plans of slowing down. However, Vivian has stated that the company is presently undergoing some major changes which include partnership with an established international based company to expand the label's global reach.

The company will also be expanding its music and entertainment Promotions and Marketing arm of the company to offer a service to the public. Vivian stated that the feedback over the years on the way the company promotes and markets itself has been a positive one, and he intends to extend this to interested individuals or companies.
He also went on to say that while the company will not be signing any new acts or taking on any under the label, the company will always stay true to its name and work to Push A Yute via other avenues available through the company.
