Welcome to Edition 24 of Fair News

Once again, it is that time of the year for us, frantically planning for Fair@Square 2013.
This year we are having a fantastic program with lots of new components to keep all our fans interested.
We are kicking off Fair@Square on the 29th of November at the Deakin Edge with the inaugural Ethical Enterprise Award celebrations.
The main event will follow on Saturday the 30th of November and Sunday the 1st of December with lots of great stalls for the conscious Christmas shopper and an amazing program. We are bringing Fair Fashion on the main square, with mini pop up shows throughout the festival. We are also launching Fair Stories, a series of mini documentaries on incredible everyday people that have achieved amazing things. There is lots more, but you will need to wait over the coming months.
Check below for our Favourite Fathers' Day Gift ideas.

Our new website is live

By the way check out our new website Moral Fairground out and tell us what you think, there are still some minor adjustments, but we love our new look.

Last Call for Fair Stories - 15th September 2013
Fair Stories is a series of 5-7 interviews with people who run
enterprises that are making life-changing contributions to
communities. We want to explore how they became involved with their work: their passions, inspirations and commitment to it.
Fair Stories aims to get at the heart of why people do what they do and why they focus their efforts on helping or creating opportunities for others via their work.
Fair Stories will be screen on the screen on the main stage at Federation Square pre and during Fair@Square 2013
If you think you are one of those organisations, we would love to hear from you. Please send us a brief summary of why you think your story should be told and how your work could inspire others to follow your path into fair trade and ethical business. Contact our producer Linda Wall

The Student Sustainable Fashion Design Competition is now open for entries.
We invite all fashion students to take up the challenge and create a sustainable fashion outfit.
Our top 3 finalists will have their entries on display as part of the Fair@Square festival on the 30th Nov and 1st December.
With over 78,000 visitors last year this is a great opportunity for exposure.
The winner will be taking away a $500 prize! Entries Close November 1st!
