A group of 50 students and 5 teachers came back from a 10 days tour of Kolkata. They visited places of interest in the City. We thank the Indian Army and Col. Arun Mamgain for giving this wonderful opportunity to students to experience the culture and sights of this historical city. Click Here!
Another Group of 30 students along with 3 teachers went on a 6 day trip to New Delhi. These students witnessed the Republic Day parade, P.M.’s NCC Parade, Beating of The Retreat and also participated in a Heritage walk with Ms. Surekha Narain. We again thank the Indian Army and Col. Arun Mamgain for making this trip possible. Thanks to Surekha who is ever ready to help.

A cultural exchange programme between 300 students of Uttarakhand and Pakistan was flagged off on the 15th of January 2014. In the first stage the students of our school wrote a letter to a school based in Rawalpindi. This programme is initiated by The Routes to Root Foundation. It will be a Year’s effort culminating in a visit to Rawalpindi by some of our students.

20 Students and 2 Teachers were part of a Sanskrit Workshop held in Rampur in Nanital District on Sanskrit learning.

A teacher training workshop was conducted by the Principal from the 11th January till the 14th January. The essence of these workshops was experiential learning, the goals of education, 21st Century skills and the XSEED curriculum.

All the teachers of the school participated in a further one day workshop intended to update activities at the school.

Republic day was celebrated at the school on 26th January 2013. There was a March Pass by the students along with Patriotic songs, PT & aerobics display and a speech both by the Principal and the Secretary of the Society.
Sheeba Prakash of Class 8 participated in a Special painting Competition at the Inter State Level, held by The Water Conservation Board for Hill States. She was awarded a consolation Prize of Rs. 6000/-.
