Hi there! This week I was amazed by the artist who created this and the Artist who created this. Here are some fun facts about popcorn and did you know there's an app for that*? Facebook updated Paper so you can now share articles via Facebook Messages, text message, or email. And if you're afraid of heights, don't look at these photos; they nearly gave me a heart attack.

1. One way to keep yourself from wasting time online

Is your computer set up with open tabs, shortcuts, bookmarks and automatic logins to email, social media sites or your favorite blogs? Do you find yourself bouncing around the bookmarks instead of doing your work? If so, create a new user on your computer and use it when you need to focus. As a different user, you'll have to manually login to sites like these, and if you're like me, that will deter you from wasting time. Here's how to create a new user on your computer for Windows or Mac.

2. How to use Google's disavow tool

When it comes to SEO, it matters who links to your site. If a lot of spammy sites link to you, you can start to look spammy too. But, there's hope. You can use Google's disavow tool tutorial to tell Google you're not one of them. But use with caution.

3. How to write a bestseller

I used to think books naturally rise to the top of bestseller lists due to great writing. But now I know that's not how it works. Books are pushed to the top of bestseller lists by great (or not so great) marketing. They stay at the top because of great writing. This interview between New York Times bestselling authors Lysa TerKeurst and Michael Hyatt has marketing tips for authors. At 1:00 you'll hear what Lysa thinks about before she even starts writing (hint: the marketing). (And if you don't have a place to create conversations as she suggests, do it here.)

4. What to include in welcome emails

If you have an email newsletter, you probably have a welcome email that is sent to subscribers as soon as they confirm their subscription. What should you include in your welcome email? A popular suggestion is to ask directly, "What would you like help with?" By doing so, you'll have an ongoing supply of content ideas, you’ll keep a pulse on who your readers are and you’ll also get the opportunity to make one-on-one contact with your subscribers if you choose to answer those emails.

5. In case you missed it...

I continued my series called How to Get More Blog Traffic and I'm slowly trying to pull together my most updated posts here.
