Greetings Deer Spirit Friends!
Thank you all so much for the appreciative feedback on my last newsletter. Many of you wrote back to me saying that you had also gone through or are going through a challenging phase involving lack of energy and motivation and dark emotions coming up for release. When we share about what we're going through and find out that others are having the same experience, it lightens the burden and we can support, encourage and assist each other.
One of the things that really helped me when I was "going through the fire" was to enlist the assistance of angels. I use a Living Prayer that I found in Robert Shapiro's channeled book "The Explorer Race and Isis". It goes like this -
I am asking for golden light beings, earth golden light beings, light beings who can work through golden light beings, and light beings who can emanate or radiate to golden light beings to disentangle me from all my discomforts and pains."
You can be more specific with this prayer too. For instance, I was having some financial issues about 2 months ago and I asked "to be disentangled from all limiting beliefs and conditioning related to money so that I will experience increasing financial abundance and prosperity."
I said this before going to sleep and when I woke up, everything had changed. The results have been dramatic and since that day, most of my old resistance to dealing with money issues has vanished.

The next Group VortexHealing® session will be tomorrow, Thurs., Sept 13th, 7:15 - 9:15pm, $20. This session will be the 4th in our 5 Elements series and we will be working on the the Water Element. The water signs are emotional and relate to the soul's basic needs - Cancer (nurturing, security, sanctuary, emotion), Scorpio (sex, death, rebirth, letting go, transformation, solving mysteries) and Pisces (mysticism, divinity, compassion, empathy, inspiration, art). Carol and I will address limiting conditioning related to Water - excessive worry, eating issues, lack of self care (Cancer), obsession / compulsion, violence, addiction, control issues (Scorpio), delusion, spaciness, paranoia, escapism (Pisces). We Will also address past life trauma related to Water (drowning, persecution, murder, suicide etc.)
You don't have to do the whole series to participate. Please email me at geordie@deerspiritreiki if you want to attend in person or receive distant healing from anywhere in the world. Distant participants will receive instructions via email and pay through [my Paypal account] (http://www.deerspiritreiki.com/contact.html). Pets can be put on the distant list for free. For distant participants the session runs from 8:15 - 9:15pm EDT.
Carol came up with the idea for the 5 elements series. The sessions have been intensely beautiful and we have really had fun doing them. I suggested that we add a 6th session for balance / harmony / integration of the 5 elements and she agreed. We've gotten great feedback from the participants and we plan to run the series again next year.
Upcoming Reiki Classes -
I will be teaching Reiki Level 1 on Sat., Sept. 15th and Reiki Level 2 on Sun. Sept 16th. Reiki Level 3 is scheduled for Sun., Sept. 23rd and Reiki Master Teacher will be taught on Sat., Sept. 29th & Sun., Sept 30th. Jae Schapp and I will be leading a 9 Dimensions Activation Ceremony on the Autumn Equinox, Sat., Sept 22nd at Madison Wellness Center, 7pm, $20 suggested donation. The "assemblage point" for the whole planet will shift on that date and we will anchor the incoming soular ascension frequencies into the Earth grids. The ceremony will include Benevolent Magic Living Prayer, 22 Hebrew Fire Letter Activation, group mantra chanting, and healing with Ananda Siddhi lotus heart bliss transmission and divine Merlin magic VortexHealing® . Please feel free to bring crystals, power objects and fruit, chocolate etc. for the spirit offering basket and altar.

Third Root Free Clinic For Recovery
Monthly on the 2nd Sat., next one is Oct. 13th, 3 - 8pm is our new time slot. This clinic is for recovery from addictions. We offer community style acupuncture, Reiki, massage and other types of bodywork. From now on you most notify me if you plan to come and give Reiki! Please do not show up if you have not RSVP'd! Third Root Community Health Clinic, 380 Marlborough Rd., Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. Take Q train to Cortelyou Rd., make left as you exit the station, walk a few yards to Marlborough, make left on Marlborough - Third Root is on the far side in that first block.
Deer Spirit Reiki Circle
We meet every Monday night at Madison Wellness Center, 171 Madison Ave. @ 33rd St., Suite 908, 7pm, $10. This circle is open to the general public - you do not have to be attuned to Reiki to attend and receive treatment. If you are attuned to Reiki, any level or lineage, you are welcome to come and give and receive treatment. We start with a guided meditation and then give 1/2 hr. treatments. If you wish to be re - attuned to your current level of Usui or Karuna Reiki, I will do it! (donations accepted but not required for re - attunements).
