FOOD for THOUGHT
Is health and wellbeing important to you? Choose today what you want.
Would you like to know how to enhance your health, be more relaxed and think more clearly?
There is an amazing product and while there hasn’t been double blind trials, I can guarantee its safety. This awesome product maintains healthy blood pressure and prevents excess cholesterol and diabetes.
It is such a wonderful product that in the most excruciating pain of a stomach ulcer, it can give pain relief within 20 minutes. Unless severely life threatening, asthma attacks can settle within 20 minutes on this product.
This product is not new. It has stood the test of time for thousands and thousands of years. It aids in excellent digestion, elimination and joint flexibility. It aids in a good night’s sleep and is an energy booster. Alertness and concentration is increased 80 times faster than the intitial effect of a chocolate bar.
The serious concern, however, is that for many people, the price is too high. But more on the cost soon.
Let’s get the boring chemical composition out of the way. It is a chemical, made up of 2 ingredients. These are 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen. It is H2O. You know what this chemical formula is.
Are you wondering why its price is so high when it is freely available with very little monetary outlay? You know the saying: “You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.” You can lead a human to knowledge, but you cannot make him/her think. It costs you to be willing to question your beliefs and move past your barriers.
For example, you might say “I drink a lot.” A lot often means 6 – 8 glasses daily, which is, “what the book says to drink”. This is where it costs to challenge our beliefs, experiences and do a bit of lateral thinking.
If we did, we would realise that it is unlikely that we would give a toddler 6 – 8 glasses of water a day. If you were stranded and traipsing through the desert, 6 – 8 glasses wouldn’t be enough. Therefore water needs are according to – not the book – but body weight and climate. In temperate climates 35 mls per kg body weight is average depending on activity.
Here in the tropics, we need 50 – 55 mls per kg as a base. “That’s a lot of water!!!!!!!” A client rang me with backup material to support his beliefs. “A friend told me that it is dangerous to drink too much water”. He is right. It is dangerous to drink too much water. This client did not need be concerned. It was difficult enough for him to drink the needed amount for his body, let alone TOO much.
“I am concerned about the inconvenience of increased toilet trips? Your bladder can be as expansive or as rigid as your mind. If your bladder has only been used 100 ml of water in it – it doesn’t expand and you get the signal –FULL -and want to empty it before any more comes in. BUT WAIT!! There’s more...
If you pay the price of a willingness to just WAIT for a bit – your bladder gets the message and it begins to expand. And amazingly, the desire to empty goes in less than 30 seconds. In training yourself to WAIT for a WEE BIT – the bladder expands more and more until you go as frequently as you did on less daily water and emptying 100 ml.
“Water is boring”. Yes!!! – its no where near as attention-grabbing as our aches and pains and sharing our sickness worries with anyone who will listen to our complaints. Don’t we love to complain? Yes we do. We all enjoy it. Boring is not a physical issue – we are attempting physical means as an upper to overcome a mental or emotion downer and this creates physical health problems.
“Well there is water in tea, coffee and alcohol, isn’t there?” Yes! I wouldn’t want to put that in the radiator of my car. I reckon, somehow it will cause damage. These more costly beverages are diuretics. Diuretics cause increased urinary output. For each 1 cup of diuretic you drink, you lose 2 cups of water.”
2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs.
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion.
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure.
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack .
Do you want health and wellbeing? There is a payoff in holding on to old beliefs and patterns – they serve us. They may cost us our health – but they are serving us. If we want health it costs us to be willing to challenge our beliefs.
TODAY – do you choose health and wellbeing? How many glasses of water a day will you have? It’s wise to gradually increase your water, e.g. two glasses extra each day until you reach the amount that your body requires.
