On this, on (what I'm going to say is) the last day of the 2012 Administrative Professionals Week, I wanted to send you a fun little thing I put together: A song for the Unsung Heroes, the Administrative Professionals!!
Here are the first few lines of my song for Administrative Professionals (sung to the tune of Gilligan's Island):
The Ballad of Administrative Professionals
(to the tune of the theme song to “Gilligan’s Island”)
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful day
That happens every year in April
When the Admins are away.
The Admins get their due each year,
During Admin Professionals Week.
But as soon as they leave for a seminar,
The office springs a leak...
For the rest of the lyrics, go to my blog entry celebrating Administrative Professionals Week.
I hope you had a wonderful Administrative Professionals Week!
I am a proud Associate Member of IAAP, and I celebrated last week by speaking to the Booz Allen Hamilton IAAP Chapter and taking part in the IAAP-Old Dominion Chapter's APW professional development seminar.
I also am looking forward to speaking to the IAAP Michigan Division Annual Meeting in May, and the IAAP DE-DC-MD Division and IAAP VA-WVA Division meetings in June!
So I hope to see you soon, and happy Administrative Professionals Week!
Chuck
