Dear , 2014 is promising to be a fantastic year for the Old Collegians community as we embark on the establishment of the Marcellin Foundation.

Over 140 people responded to the recent online survey and I am chuffed by the enthusiastic support we are receiving from the Marcellin community. I will keep you posted about new developments over the next few months (including a summary of our survey results). The survey is still open for another week, so feel free to complete it if you haven't done so already.

Join College Principal Mark Murphy and MOCA Business Network leader Mark Cooper for a Business Breakfast at Marcellin on Friday 29th November - we will be kicking off early at 6.30am. Come alone, or put together a table (of 10). This event is NOT restricted to Old Collegians; parents, partners and colleagues are all welcome. A Marcellin connection of some kind is the only pre-requisite.

The theme of this function will be 'Setting Goals' As Marcellin embarks on the establishment of its Foundation, it's timely to reflect on just how important this basic business principle is.

Our guest speaker is Old Collegian Mike Gregory. Hear Mike's remarkable personal story - he combines his busy career as a Health Care professional with his passion for endurance swimming. Mike has swum the English Channel (twice), done a solo marathon swim around Manhattan Island and is one of only five people to swim across Port Phillip Bay (and plenty more).

At the age of 50 Mike is still setting new goals and is an inspiration to people of ALL ages and from all walks of life.
