| Exclusive MAXIMILIAN Trailer Released |
We are pleased and excited to share with you the exclusive trailer for MAXIMILIAN: SAINT OF AUSCHWITZ, our newly updated, live drama performed by Leonardo Defilippis.
MAXIMILIAN has always been Saint Luke Productions' most modern and most requested live drama. The play relates the story of Saint Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Catholic priest imprisoned in the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz, who willingly volunteered his life in place of a fellow prisoner condemned to death. Canonized in 1982, Saint Maximilian is a true example of heroism for the modern man, standing up to fight evil even at the highest cost.
 Facing turmoil in our world, challenges to our religious freedoms, and striking parallels between St. Maximilian's era and our own, we decided early this year to feature MAXIMILIAN as our primary touring drama for the fall of 2012. Building on experience from the production of VIANNEY and this spring's re-worked production of THE PASSION, we set out early this summer to update and re-craft MAXIMILIAN for audiences in 2012.
And re-craft it we did! MAXIMILIAN is our most complicated multimedia production to date, employing live action, animation, historical footage, and a sweeping cinematic score to illustrate the story of this saintly hero. It's scope reaches from the heavenly chaos of creation to the humble actions of one man pursuing daily holiness. Using all elements of multimedia available to us, we have presented a story of good vs. evil on both a human and cosmic scale.
We're excited to share this trailer in order to better illustrate to you, our faithful friends and supporters, how fiercely we pursue the mission we undertake daily at Saint Luke Productions: producing dramas that inspire heroism among the faithful and change in our culture.
