This is the last week of our Black & Blueberry Pie sales in support of our friend Karen's MSA fundraiser. We're donating 10% of all Black & Blueberry Pie in-store and on-line sales this month to her cause. So, tell your friends, order a couple extra, enjoy some pie and help a friend in need!

We've been having some fun in the kitchen this month, testing out new Spring recipes and trying out new combinations of pastry and flavors. And I've been working on the April menu, and the Easter menu - which will be posted online soon, I promise - and we've got some tasty happiness in store for you.

We've expanded our yummy veggie tart offerings in the shop, with individual breakfast tarts - this week it's Asparagus Goat Cheese, with Zuckerman Farms local organic asparagus. And Roasted Roma Tomato Tarts with Feta and fresh herbs. And for the Easter season, Fish, Spinach and Leek Pasties.

And then there's the sweet tarts and treats we've been playing with....

One Year Anniversary!!

Do you realize we're coming up on a year in our retail shop? We're working on putting together a terrific event to celebrate! It's been one crazy-wild year, I'll tell you that. And absolutely fabulously fun and wonderful, in spite of whatever disheveled mess you've seen me in when you've come in the shop. I've always been disheveled.
So, save the date: Sunday, April 27, approx. 4-8 p.m. we'll have a big open house, a Jazz & Pie dinner, music, fun, giveaways and a whole bunch of really fun things.

Quiche Alsacienne is our most popular quiche by far - Ham, Bacon, carmelized onions, Swiss & Asiago cheeses.

Now there's a good option for you folks trapped over on Mowry! Stop by the Fremont Whole Foods to pick up some pie! So far, they are carrying our 6-inch Black & Blueberry Pies and Caramel Apple Pies. Also the 4-inch Chocolate Puddles and Strawberry Almond Tarts. If you don't see them, make sure to ask! And tell them what pies you'd like to see there - sweet and savory! Yay Fremont!
