Personality is extremely important as a DJ in today’s climate and Figa has developed her style on the MIC through her residencies and Radio shows. Her style of music played is eclectic, and as such she has a huge repertoire of genres of which she has mastered to an exceptional level. It’s the fusion of these styles, alongside her technical ability that makes her stand out from the crowd.

"I am not 'Just' an Urban DJ. I play EVERYTHING to a high standard! I love good music and creating a vibe. What matters to me is that the crowd in front of me has a good time, a memorable night. I believe in playing my position be it as a warm up DJ or a headliner there is no room for an ego only precise execution of skill. I watch, I listen and feed off the energy of the crowd. I understand that they feed off me too so I always give a show without compromising the quality of my set. We are on a journey together and as the driver I must always be ready to change the direction of the journey at a moments notice. The challenge is doing this without anyone noticing..driving them to a frenzy and bringing them back down when needed..with all this said talk is nothing without action.. I like my sets to say all that you need to know....

Figa has also become well known for her Mixtapes, which feature her own remixes, dubs & jingles from A List celebrities Such as Chipmunk, Mark Ronson to Sizzla, and also local up and coming artist. They are full of upront and classic jams. She has her finger firmly on the pulse of the clubs and the streets. Through her professionalism and hunger for success this little lady is well positioned to do big things as a DJ. She already has an established and ever growing fan base and this with her limitless ambition and determination, will ensure that she becomes a house hold name in her own right.
